A brig named Greyhound, captained by Allen, was involved in the Greenwich, New Jersey, Tea Burning that happened December 22, 1774. I wonder if this is the same brig Greyhound that delivered Abraham Byfield to Baltimore in 1786? I don't know how many brig type ships named Greyhound may have been around during the years prior to and after the Revolution.
